Abstract

This study aims to identifying the impact of environmental survey capabilities in the quality of strategic decisions and its dominations (understanding, rational actions, procedural justice, and commitment to decision). The importance of this study springs from the need to enhance the services provided by universities since they are the most vital foundations in all countries. Universities have a pivotal role in the social and economic growth . One main hypotheses have been developed, from which a number of sub-hypotheses are derived to test the influence of environmental survey on the strategic decisions at the level of the organization being investigated. Accordingly, the study addresses how the environmental survey capabilities could influence strategic decisions in conformity with the attitudes of the studied institute.

The results shows that the of environmental survey capabilities could be utilized as an effective means to clarify ambiguity by analyzing the outer and inner environments as well as the capacity of integration would result in acquiring information which aid in making strategic decisions of high efficacy. These decisions help universities to compete globally in the future.
