Abstract

The (Lee) cognitive strategy is one of the cognitive learning strategies. This strategy was derived from Bolea's approach to solving problems by rephrasing it to suit the nature of verbal problems and reformulating the methods referred to by Bolea, in terms of language and the degree of composition to suit the problems in the academic stages.

The problem in general is an unaccustomed situation that is not sufficient to solve previous experiences and familiar behavior. The problem results from obstacles in the way of reaching a goal that cannot be reached by familiar behavior. Therefore, the student feels a bit of confusion, hesitation, and distress that forces her to get out of the impasse and get rid of what she feels from distress.

Therefore, the current research aims to find out (the impact of Lee's cognitive strategy on the achievement of second-grade students in the intermediate geography subject).
