The contemporary Iraqi poet paid great attention to the holy city of Najaf. So he gave her holiness that he does not give to any other holy city. His interest in this was a wide poetic product. Say that we find a similar one in the poetry of other holy cities. But with his abundance, he did not take his right as he should; from the research, and did not study an independent study. Likewise, the Najaf literary environment was not fully studied, and all that was studied from it is in a narrow circle that does not fulfill the required purpose, and it only makes a specific enumeration of some of what was said in this city (the city of Najaf) of literature and poetry and of all Arab poets without the necessary attention and Al-Kafi with contemporary Iraqi literature and poetry in this city; In order for the benefit to prevail and for more knowledge of a golden period of literature and poetry in this city and among the great contemporary poets of Iraq. Therefore, we monitored many literary collections and poetic collections, and we produced examples of contemporary Iraqi poetry about the sanctity of Najaf. And we devoted ourselves to studying it as a descriptive and analytical study to find out the full picture of this type of poetry with its artistic structures and beautiful descriptions. The research concluded that the contemporary poets of Iraq have increased the sanctity of Najaf in their poetry; So they were creative in describing it and highlighting its status, so they gave it beautiful poetic images, unless we find an example of it in the poetry of other holy cities.
