Abstract

Talbera is an Andalusian city located in the Middle Frontier region to the northwest of Toledo, and it is one of his works, on the right bank of the Tajah River. It was conquered by the Muslims under the leadership of Tariq bin Ziyad, and there was the first meeting between the latter and Musa bin Naseer in Andalusia. Life in it because of its important garrison location until it became one of the important cities there, and Islamic rule continued for about four centuries when it fell into the hands of the Christians in the year 477 AH / 1084 CE. The research material required that we divide it into three axes, the first being devoted to the historical geography of the city in terms of location
