Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines

To submit a research article to our electronic journal, please follow these steps:

  1. Register on the journal: If you haven't already, create an account on our journal's website.
  2. Make a submission: Click on the "Make a Submission" button and fill out all the required fields. Attach an electronic copy of your research article.
  3. Receipt and assignment: The editor-in-chief will receive your submission and assign an editor from the editorial board to review it. You will receive an electronic notification informing you of the receipt of your research.
  4. Originality pledge: You must submit a written pledge that your research has not been previously published and that it has not been quoted or adapted from another author.
  5. Payment of publishing fees: If you are from inside Iraq, you must pay the research publishing fees directly at the Faculty building.
  6. Peer review: Your research will be sent to two reviewers with specialization in the research topic. You will be informed electronically that your research has been sent to the reviewers.
  7. Revision and resubmission: After completing the peer review process, you will receive the reviewers' comments via email. You must adhere literally to the reviewers' comments and correct your research accordingly. Once you have made the corrections, resubmit your research via the journal's platform.
  8. Final acceptance: After the corrections have been verified, you will receive a publication acceptance notification via email. The editor-in-chief will determine the issue in which your research will be published, taking into account the sequence and precedence of submitting research.

Documentation Style

Our journal uses the American Psychological Association (APA) system for documenting sources and references. Please follow these guidelines:

  • Books: Author's last name, first name (year of publication). Book title in italics. Edition number (if available, provided that the first edition is not mentioned), publisher. If the book has more than one author, separate the authors with a comma (,). Example: Al-Bukhari, Muhammad bin Ismail (d. 256 AH). (1980) Sahih Al-Bukhari. Dar Al-Fikr Publishing.
  • Journal articles: Author's last name, first name (year of publication). Title of the article or research. Journal name. Volume number (in italics) (issue number), beginning page number - end page number.
  • Conferences: Author's last name, first author's name (year, month, day). Title of the research paper (in italics), organizing party.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your research article is properly formatted and submitted to our journal.

Submission Preparation Checklist

 

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
