Pragmatism is one of the philosophies that emerged at the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, and it had its reputation in the United States of America and Europe. Three philosophers developed this theory, and they took the principle of utility and practicality as the basis for this theory. Pragmatism is a purely materialistic theory, and it eliminated everything beyond matter, and it involved many misconceptions. Our Muslim societies, our professors, and our students should pay attention to the danger of this thought based on benefit. The benefit is nothing else, and this thought is exactly what we see today emerging through the policies of the Western world, which derives its visions from such materialistic theories that have nothing to do with man and humanity.
He will try to define this theory, its most famous pioneers and their sayings, and then criticize it through the Holy Qur’an and the sayings of the Infallible (pbuh.(
