It is no secret to the reader that the investigation - which is the control, confirmation, documentation, and judgment of the texts by the one who is responsible for the investigation - this is with a knowledgeable honesty - is a science and an art like all other sciences and arts, rather it is one of the most important of them because of its great impact on preserving the nation’s heritage and showing it to the scientific arena. The research came within the investigation of a manuscript of Sheikh Abbas Kashif Al-Ghita, who died in the year (1323 AH), and it is entitled (Manhal Al-Ghamm in Explanation of the Laws of Islam in the Book of Alms: Study and Investigation). The research was in the definition of alms and its importance in Islamic law because of its role in social solidarity among members of society and caring for the poor, as it was urged by traditional texts and narrations. Likewise, secret charity has become one of the best and most beloved deeds to God Almighty, because it is one of the pure deeds that is not tainted by any worldly purpose.
