The nominal sentence is a living linguistic phenomenon. Within its structure, "Inchoation" (Al-Ibtida') represents the "speaker's intention," while the "Construction" (Al-Bina') embodies their "ultimate goal." This study transcends traditional pedagogical grammar—which often stops at the formal parsing of the subject (Mubtada') and the predicate (Khabar)—to perceive the nominal sentence as a "communicative strategy." This is because the speaker does not merely describe reality but rather imbues it with the quality of "permanence" (Thubat). Intention, here, is the "spirit" that grants grammatical predication (Isnad) its communicative legitimacy. Accordingly, the study seeks to analyze the structure of the nominal sentence in terms of its components, functions, and mechanisms of meaning production. It further describes how the nominal sentence is strategically employed to achieve specific objectives within diverse speech situations.
