In this work, an easy and accurate method was accomplished for measuring, estimating, and separating some dyes used in food products, which are (E102), (E110) and (E122) using RP-HPLC technique. C18 column (MN comp.) was used to analyze these dyes, and calibration curves were made for the three dyes in rang of (1-30 ppm), the LOD and LOQ were calculated, which are (0.905-2.26 µg/mL) and (2.743-6.85 µg/mL) respectively, in this study, a mixture of food dyes was separated using isocratic and gradient RP-HPLC modes. The method was applied to samples of soft drinks available in local markets of Baghdad in Iraq to estimate the amount of food dyes present in them, and the method was successful and good.
