Abstract

The importance of the research is highlighted in demonstrating the effect of complex training on some bio-motor abilities as well as performance abilities, represented by the shooting power of members of the research sample, as master coaches can benefit from it to supplement Iraqi handball with one of the modern training methods to keep pace with the level of physical abilities associated with the game for regional and international teams. The research problem is represented by its scarcity. Adopting training curricula to raise the level of bio-kinetic and performance capabilities for the game of handball, which shows the great difference in performance levels between the Iraqi player and his Arab or international counterpart in light of the results obtained by the Iraqi teams. The aim of the research is to develop functional exercises in a complex training method for handball players. Identifying the effect of complex training on some biomotor abilities of handball players. To identify the effect of complex training and the electrical activity of the working muscles of handball players. The researcher used the experimental approach in the style of the two equal control and experimental groups. The research population was determined by the players of the Premier League handball clubs for the 2021-2022 sports season, which number (12) clubs. The researcher chose the research sample represented by club players. Al-Kufa, numbering (16) players as an experimental group, and Najaf Club players, numbering (16) players as a control group. Two exploratory experiments were conducted, scientific foundations were found, pre-tests were conducted and equivalence were conducted, and the experimental curriculum was applied, which lasted for a period of (10) weeks and an average of (3) training units per week and a time ranging from (45) minutes for the research variable, then conducting post-tests after the end of the experimental method, and statistical treatments related to the subject of the research were used. The researcher reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: Complex training has a positive effect and is more effective than the traditional method in developing Some biomotor abilities of handball players. Complex training has a positive and more effective effect than the traditional method in developing the peak electrical activity of the working muscles of handball players. The recommendations are as follows: Emphasizing the use of functional exercises using the complex training method as an effective method for developing and disseminating some biomotor abilities. On club and national team players in Iraq in handball. Emphasis on the use of functional exercises using the combined training method in developing the strength and speed of performing special skills in the game of handball. Emphasis on linking functional exercises using the complex training method to skill exercises for handball players to achieve greater benefit.
