The research included four sections. The first section contained the introduction to the research and its importance, and the intersection between sciences was invested using theories and information that ultimately aims to develop abilities and skills in sports. Which made interest in psychology in achieving achievement when there is a convergence in skill and physical levels. As for the problem of the research, it was noted that there is a loss of many points as a result of not performing defensive skills throughout the match in a distinctive way, such as blocking walls or defending the field. The aim of the research is to identify mental relaxation exercises. Muscular development of some basic defensive skills for volleyball players. On a sample of (14) players in the Heat Club, he used appropriate tests to obtain the results. The researcher concluded that adopting mental-muscular relaxation exercises works to develop some of the basic defensive skills of volleyball players. The researcher recommended adopting and strengthening mental-muscular relaxation exercises among volleyball players.
