Abstract

This study's goal was to create and describe selexipag-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles using the ultrasonic method. Four different lipid types of palmitic acid, stearic acid, glyceryl dibehenate, and glyceryl monostearate were assessed for their effects on solubility, release behavior, and possible enhancement of oral bioavailability. Various factors, such as lipid type and concentration, are employed to improve the formulation to attain the required particle size, maximum entrapment efficiency, and cumulative drug release percentage. The optimized formulation is loaded with capsules. The optimized formulation composed from 150 mg of glyceryl monostearate and 90 mg of poloxamer 407 that demonstrated high cumulative drug release, and entrapment efficiency.
