Publishing policy in the Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences - publishing ethics and intellectual property rights
- The Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences adopts the rules of confidentiality and objectivity in the arbitration process, for both researchers and arbitrators and refers every research subject to evaluation by arbitrators accredited with experience and precise expertise in the subject of the research to evaluate it according to specific points. In the event of a discrepancy in the evaluation between the arbitrators, the journal refers the research to Another arbitrator or other weighted reader.
- The Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences accredits reliable and experienced reviewers who are experienced in their specialty.
- The Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences adopts a precise internal organization that clearly defines the duties and responsibilities in the work of the editorial staff and its job ranks.
- Editors and reviewers are not permitted, except those directly responsible for the editing process (The editor-in-chief or his representative) to review the paper with any other person, including the author. Any privileged information or opinion obtained through arbitration should be kept confidential, and none of it may be used for personal benefit.
- In light of the referees’ reports, the journal provides a technical, methodological, and informational support service to researchers according to what the reviewer requires and to improve the research.
- The journal is committed to informing the researcher of its approval to publish the research without modification or in accordance with certain modifications, based on what is contained in the arbitration reports, or an apology for not publishing, indicating the reasons for the apology.
- The Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences is committed to the quality of the auditing, editorial, printing and electronic services it provides for research.
- The rule of no conflict of interest between editors and the researcher, whether this is the result of a competitive, cooperative, or other relationship or link with any author, companies, or institutions related to the research.
- The journal abides by the prohibition of any member of the editorial board from using unpublished materials the research referred to the journal includes it in their own research.
- The final version of the research and amendments: The journal displays the semi-final edited version of the research in the researcher’s format before publication. At this stage, no fundamental amendments or additions to the research are accepted, except for corrections, or minor modifications, within a very short time period specified by the journal’s notification to the researcher.
- Intellectual property rights: The researcher owns the intellectual property rights for articles published in the Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and it is not permissible to republish them in part or in whole, whether in English or translated into other languages except after the permission of the journal or the researcher, according to what the faculty deems appropriate.
- In publishing translated articles, the Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences strictly adheres to obtaining the permission of the foreign journal publisher or the permission of the researcher, author or journal and respecting intellectual property rights.
The Kufa Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences is committed to checking the plagiarism rates of research submitted for publication using the Turnitin specialized electronic program, and the plagiarism rates should not exceed (20%) in order to ensure that research whose text is partially or completely plagiarized is not published.
