Analysis of the Science Book (Part One) for the First Intermediate Grade in Light of the British Foundation Standards (CFBT)

The research aims to identify the extent to which the science book, the first part of the intermediate stage, includes the requirements of the standards of the British Institution. To achieve the goal of the research, the two researchers built a research tool, and its goal was verified by presenting it to a group of experts, specialists and arbitrators in the field of educational and technical sciences and life sciences, and thus the tool was formed in its final form It consists of 39 items distributed over nine fields, namely: (energy, forces, forces and motion, positive motion, electricity, magnetism and electricity, the structure of matter, and space physics). Then the two researchers analyzed the science books for the intermediate stage prescribed for the academic year 2018-2019 in the light of the tool, as the number of analyzed pages reached (400) pages. after a period of two weeks. The two researchers reached the results that the science book for the first intermediate grade included most of the requirements of the British standards, but in close proportions compared to the first intermediate book.
