In this research a new series of 1,3-Diazetidine-2-one derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of 2-(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl) acetonitrile with terephthalaldehyde presence of 10%NaOH and absolute ethanol to form a compound alkene derivative. The alkene intermediate then react with 4- amino antipyrine, nicotinic hydrazide respectively, to obtain Schiff base derivatives. Then, it will be converted into Schiff base derivatives which will be treated with 4- bromo phenyl iso cyanate and 4-methoxy phenyl iso cyanate respectively to obtain the final products. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by the FT-IR, 1H-NMR,13C-NMR. In our conclusion, the antibacterial effects were tested with the use of Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative Acinetobacter baumannii,
