Legal protection of extradition procedures in Iraqi legislation

Abstract

: At the beginning of creation, the first crime appeared. There was a “criminal,” that is, a perpetrator or a “victim,” and the perpetrator tried again and again to evade punishment and retribution. These were the reasons that led to the emergence of a legal organization that regulates human life in society, protects them from attacks on themselves or their property, and deters those in their hearts. Illness or predisposition to crime, and restrictions are being imposed on them so that they do not escape punishment and escape the grip of justice by seeking refuge in their countries or in other countries near or far from their country. These data were an incentive to issue special legislation regarding “extradition of criminals” by creating a legal system that addresses cases of criminal escape and works to prosecute them to punish them for their actions against individuals, society, or the state. .
