Background: Approximately 22% of cancer-related deaths are caused by tobacco smoking, with 10% coming from obesity, poor nutrition, inactivity, and extreme alcoholic consumption. Objectives: The present study was carried out to conduct an immunological study via using novel tumor markers (PAX8 and CAIX) in endometrial and endocervical cancer (benign and malignant). Methods: A case-control study to assess PAX8 and CAIX levels: "peripheral blood samples" were obtained from 100 patients with newly diagnosed "endometrial and endocervical cancer" and 50 healthy controls. Results: The results showed elevated levels of PAX-8 in endometrial and endocervical cancer (benign and malignant) women’s patients when compared with healthy women and increased levels of CAIX in endometrial and endocervical cancer (benign and malignant) women’s patients when compared with healthy women. The results showed that PAX-8 and CAIX are more commonly expressed in endometrial adenocarcinomas. Conclusions: This research indicated significant differences between endometrial and endocervical cancer (benign and malignant), and PAX8 and CAIX as immunoreactive markers for direct differentiation between cervical and endometrial cancer.
