The research on the types of semantics and their divisions is one of the outstanding efforts made by Sheikh al-Tusi. He paid great attention to them and divided them into sections according to the semantic relationship between the signifier and the signified. Because the semantic relationship represents an incremental relationship between the signifier and the signified, the types of signification vary according to the nature of the relationship between the two poles of signification.
And that the process of semantic thinking can only be achieved through the interaction of the signifier and the signified, and this matter results in the expansion of the semantic concept to include all channels of human communication that signify positioning, such as saying, doing, writing and pointing. The legislator’s commands and prohibitions are indicated and conveyed by semantic types: sayings, writing, and allusion. Sheikh al-Tusi named signs and means of modest communication on them by means of elucidation. Therefore, the research took place in various semantic systems with the precise classification of Sheikh Al-Tusi.
