our current research aims to study and analyze the stylistic-semantic characteristics of Al-Sayyid Al-Hilli's elegies. The study sample consisted of 26 poems and stanzas in the lamentation of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them. The study adopted the stylistic approach based on description, analysis and statistics. The poetic discourse in elegies consisted of four main semantic fields: the fields of crime, pain, grief and wounds, religion and place; The frequent occurrence of the fields of crime and sadness in all other fields is due to the nature of elegiac poetry, which is full of the implications of murder, destruction and grave and painful events. The poetic images used in elegies revolve around connotations such as; The virtues of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, the drills of al-Adi, the awakening of Imam al-Mahdi, description of the battlefields, flirtation and remembrance of blood.
