هو ابو بشر عمرو بن عثمان بن قنبر(ت- 180هـ ) وسيبويه لقبه , يعني رائحة التفاح او ثلاثين رائحة وجدت انه يخطئ في (كتابة ) النحوي في الامور الاتية :-1- الرواية ( السماع )
2- التقرير
3- وضع الامثال في غير مواضعها
4- الخطأ في استعمال الضمائر
5- القياس .
