Abstract

 The world has witnessed a tremendous urban growth that played an important role in the expansion of its urban areas, accompanied by the massive expansion of urban transport, due to the attraction of the population of the city of Kut towards the suburbs and urban areas, and the city’s scope expanded and its number increased. It has increased in different forms towards this city and represented different directions of internal flow and migration. As a result of social, economic, cultural and political influences, including the movement of scientific and technological progress, and because urban transportation still produces many different problems Which affects the various aspects of life, and urban transport problems are attributed to various reasons such as congestion and lack of streets. In this regard, Merdel indicated that third world societies do not only suffer from social, economic or political problems, but also suffer from complex problems in urban transport that affect on all aspects of life. With this movement from one community to another and even within the same community, some cities are almost suffocating due to overcrowding and mismanagement, organization and movement in urban transportation.
