After the Iraqi constitution, it is one of the most important priorities of the National Assembly. Rather, we can say that it is the main goal for which it came. The adoption of the constitution witnessed the culmination of political consensus in the legislation of its articles and chapters by enacting articles that guarantee the ascendant political forces their permanence in a democratic way, such as federalism, state identity, and state religion. In addition to suspending a number of articles in a sentence (and it is regulated by a law, and the legislators were keen on that permanence through the great complexities that they put before amending the constitution in the future, so a number of specialists considered it a rigid constitution with complex amendments, in addition to the National Assembly carrying out other legal legislation such as the referendum law election law, and so on.
