Estimating the volume of surface water resources in the Wadi Mudud Basin

Abstract

  The research included the study of the surface water resources available in the Wadi Mudud Basin in terms of their natural characteristics and the calculation of the amount of water deficit and its quantity according to the hydrological mathematical models adopted in estimating the volume of surface runoff.

  The research concluded that the surface water suffers from a large water deficit during the hot season due to high evaporation conditions, and it reached the possibility of constructing a dam in the middle part of the valley stream, where a number of river beds converge
