The reality of the demographic characteristics of working children and their families in the Kufa district

The study and knowledge of the population characteristics related to working children in the study area is important in knowing the population structure, gender ratio and age group, and thus linking them to the characteristics and social and economic conditions of children, which reveal to us the extent of the relationship between gender, age and other characteristics related to working children and their families through the collection of information and data that pertain to phenomenon when studied in the field.
The demographic characteristics are important in population studies, as they show us the knowledge of the demographic society represented mainly in the qualitative and age structure of the population to show us the numbers of males and females and the age groups in society. Their age structure, as the age group under fifteen years is considered a dependent group by other age groups, and it is not their responsibility to work, but the economic, social and political conditions prevented this, as children under the age of fifteen work in marginal jobs to support their families and thus support Themselves, despite the serious business challenges, they practice it because of their economic need for it.
