Abstract

The study of the sentence is one of the linguistic investigations that preoccupied the ideas of Arab grammarians and rhetoricians, ancient and modern, so they were exposed to it to reveal the controlling relationships of its elements, the rules that regulate it, and how its parts are arranged, so they studied the subject of introduction and delay in it. Advancement and delay are a kind of inversion, which is called the grammatical inversion in the light of contemporary linguistics and is equivalent to the word "scrambling" or "fronting" in English; This study touched on the subject of the grammatical heart, in both its short-term and long-term forms, with a descriptive-analytical approach.
