Abstract

The industrialization process is based on the investment of the geographical components that are reliable in the industrial field, in addition to developing a clear industrial strategy that depends on the political and social system. Therefore, the research begins to highlight the natural and human resources available in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate and invest them in the establishment of the plastics industry, especially the natural ingredients that work to prepare Conditions to provide agricultural raw materials, palm groves and natural plants of reeds, as well as the human resources, especially the raw materials necessary for the establishment of industry such as wood, palm fronds, straw, and plastic waste, in addition to the fact that the study area is a wide market for many industrial products, including plastic ones, in terms of population. The total population of 1,359,642 people and the economically active population amounting to 735,397 people, or 54.1% of the total of the governorate, as well as the land roads that work to transport materials to the proposed factory and transport manufactured goods to consumer markets are all geographical components that work on the establishment of the industrial project.
