Abstract

Lorimer was one of the important personalities that must be studied in history because he contributed to the authoring of an important historical and geographical statistical encyclopedia known as the Guide to the Arabian Gulf, Oman and the Central Arabian Peninsula. It is considered the important and basic source that anyone who wants to search or write in the history and geography of Iraq and the region of the Arabian Gulf turns to. And the middle of the Arabian Peninsula, and Lorimer had other books that contributed to the codification of customary law, and the rules and vocabulary of the Pashto language in Waziri district.
