The Italian thinker, philosopher, novelist, cultural critic, and academic Umberto Eco is considered one of the most prominent figures in the field of semiotics, or what is known as the science of signs. He transformed it into a semiotic system for studying culture as a network of complex symbols that interact with each other to form and produce multiple meanings. These meanings encompass language, rituals, arts, and other symbolic signs that remain fluid and open to broad interpretation based on the social context, personal experience, and encyclopedic knowledge of the reader engaged in the act of interpretation. This highlights the dynamic social and symbolic processes in the world through the means of human communication and interaction
