The very short story has gained wide attention among talented storytellers around the world in recent years because of its technical and aesthetic features that made it effective in the literary arena, especially in educating the recipient and urging him to participate in the narration process. It is one of the most prominent forms of minimalist philosophy that emerged at the beginning of the twentieth century in response to a range of social, political and cultural conditions and spread throughout the world. It is characterized by condensation and brevity, and the use of minimal elements in creating a work of art. This study aims to stand on the Syrian fictional experience in this field, represented by the experience of the writer “Jumana Amin Taha” as one of the writers active in the Syrian literary and cultural community. . The study method is descriptive-analytical. So it became clear to us that the writer was able to use the unique elements of the very short story in the best way in her collection “Story Paintings” as a model and how to employ technology in it with the highest degree of clarity, so as to encourage the recipient to participate dynamically in the narration. This group has artistic features and sublime techniques towards: focusing on the inner characters and the single event, condensation, rhetorical features such as metaphor and simile, paradox, and the use of actual structures as an emphasis on the past tense.
