Abstract

This research seeks to investigate the roots of Arabic terminology in Nahj al-Balaghah and its modern Arab and Western uses, and how modern Western critical discourse was able to invest it in the approach to the Arab heritage, especially the critical field, due to the development it has achieved at the level of cognitive vision and procedural tools. The essential perceptions of reading the rooting of the term in Nahj al-Balaghah, clarifying its significance in the purpose of the Imam (), and comparing it with contemporary usage. The research method was carried out on presenting the texts that contain the term in the words of the imam and explaining its significance, and then preferring precedence in use. the West.
