Abstract

Pastiche in literature is poet reception from a poem of another poet, in the same rhythm and rhyme. The term "pastiche" in the Mamluk period literature is very common, especially in the prophet’s eulogies. "al-bordah of Bousiri" is one of the poems have been imitated by scholars. This pastiches have been studied from various aspects like the subject of poem, poem rhythm, rhetorical Techniques and poetic style. One of the most beautiful pastiches in “bordah bousiri” is “ode of “ali ahmad bakatheer with title “nezam al-bordah”.

This study is based on descriptive and Analytical method and It has paid to conceptual and stylistic research on two odes. The findings show that Bakatheer has been influenced by “Bordah of Bousiri” in aspect of stylistic, in terms of sound and music; but he has failed to keep up with Bousiri in terms of composition and eloquence. In terms of Concept, the ode Bakatheer Unlike, Bousiri has accepted more political flavor, so that this feature has become difference point in two odes
