Abstract

The Present study aims at shedding the light on William Shakespeare's play Othello, which is considered as one of his most well-known tragedies. The study is divided into two sections, the first one is an introduction that includes three sub-sections concerned with the analysis of the play as a picture reflecting the psychological problems of its protagonist and as a tragedy of a human who fails to understands the importance of love in his life and being unable to recognize his real enemy.
