Abstract

This article explored the nature and methods of humor and irony in the shrines of Badi' al-Zaman al-Hamadani. In this article, the collection of techniques and literary ideas of the author of the Maqamat is considered and examined, as well as the geometrical structure of humor and humor in the Maqamat al-Hamdani, and sometimes the characterization of the characters in the shrine of humor, which are presented at the end of this discussion. In preparation for this, the following titles are also presented: Al-Hamdani’s life, his doctrine, the works of Badi’ al-Zaman, his shrines, the appearance of the shrines, and the style of the shrines.
