The role of urban planning in protecting the urban environment from household waste (a case study of Al-Mukarramah neighborhood in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf)

Abstract

The research aims to study the problem of household waste management in Al-Mukarramah neighborhood, one of the neighborhoods of Najaf Al-Ashraf, and to develop solutions to this problem. To this end, a field survey was conducted and a questionnaire was prepared to determine the composition and rate of household solid waste production for a group of households that were elected in the study area.
