Abstract

This research aims to study the spatial distribution of some air pollutants in the city of Hilla, which include falling dust, suspended particles, heavy elements (lead, nickel, cadmium, copper, iron) and hydrocarbons. The research concluded:

1- The research showed that the highest concentrations of dust falling spatially were in Al-Bakrli neighborhood, where the average was (184.69) mg / m2.

2- The research found that the highest concentration of suspended particles spatially was in Al-Sadr neighborhood, where the rate was (439.75) mg / m3.

3- The highest concentration of lead in the spatially falling dust was in the Military District, where it averaged (17.36) mg/m2.

4- As for the concentration of lead in the spatially suspended particles, it was in Al-Sadr neighborhood, where the average was (17.40) mg / m3.
