Behind their participation was high hopes for obtaining their rights as first-class citizens, after the discriminatory practices they were subjected to by both the government and society, but despite that, African Americans suffered from The same racist treatment even within the military institution, which led to an increase in the demands, and they began to organize themselves more to obtain the desired goal of freedom and equality.
