Abstract

This research aims to reveal the human uses of the natural plant in the holy province of Karbala. The reed plant is used for back and hip pain, cough suppression, itching, scabies, hair pulling, eye whitening, joint pain, diuretic and menstruation, and scorpion sting. Most plants in the study area are suitable for grazing, especially herbaceous and thorny plants.
