Abstract

Ground water (GW) quality were evaluated by dtermining Heavy metals (HMs) for Alhussain project on July and December 2014 .

Heavy metals (zn,cu,cr,co,pb,cd,mn) for the wells under study has been examined . The results showed great variations among the analyzed samples . However most values were higher the maximum permissible levels recommended by world health organization (WHO) drinking water standard . The harvests of metallic contents except (zn,cu,cr) were higher the maximum permissible levels recommended by world health organization (WHO) for drinking and irrgational purposes
