Abstract

Cartography is considered the foundational pillar on which geographical work relies. Geography, without it, loses an indispensable tool. Therefore, attention must be directed to this science due to its prominent position among the branches of geography, as it occupies a leading role by providing wide and accurate capabilities in presentation, analysis, correlation, interpretation, and data processing. It is a successful method in terms of precision and analysis, as it provides an integrated and interconnected image of various geographical phenomena and clarifies the spatial relationships and interactions between them, along with their mutual impacts. This science also includes effective methods for expressing forms, ideas, and relationships that exist between two or three dimensions in space.

The research aims to prepare thematic maps that address the distribution of the population according to correct cartographic principles, achieving the required visual levels for their display.
