Hydrogeographic analysis of the reality of water in the city of Khanaqin and potentials for its investment

Abstract

The population of the city of Khanaqin, according to the United Nations Organization for the year (2003 AD), is approximately (170,400 people)([i]), Khanaqin is located within Diyala Governorate and includes the districts (Khanaqin Al Markaz, Jalawla, Al Saadiya), and the administrative division of the city of Khanaqin according to the classification of the Kurdistan government includes Sub-districts (Khanaqin, Qora To, Midan).
