Abstract

The study aims to clarify the natural geographic factors represented by the geographical location, the maritime borders with neighboring countries, the impact of the marine terrain, the presence of islands and coasts, and their impact on the conflict over the continental shelf and the investment of its resources between the riparian countries, as international law recognized that these factors achieve neutrality in the process of drawing maritime borders between countries and defining areas The marine area that falls within the sovereignty of each country and in which it exercises its rights of exploitation and economic investment.
