Abstract

The title is one of the most important thresholds of the text, as it suggests to the reader the contents of the text, so consider the main gate of the text. In this research, we were required to study the title and its patterns in Badrani's poetry. Due to the multiplicity of forms of these titles, which were nominal at one time and actual at another. This study worked on showing the importance of the title for the text first, and for the reader second, by showing its functions related to both the text and the recipient. In addition to explaining and clarifying the patterns that it came up with in the Diwan (Unfinished Quartets), from main and sub-headings, and how these headings entered into conflict with the text,
