Abstract

This study aims to explain the military preparation preparations which Ottoman authorities took when the first word war occurred. The Ottoman didn’t expect any military confrontation in Iraq , for their preparations didn’t suitable and it came late at the last months before the war. The preparations included declaration of general mobilization which stipulated to put men under weapons , preparing to travel , and to make use of the economical abilities in Iraq to serve the war and it imposed war taxes on citizens . All these steps caused a great suffer from the citizens of Iraqi people whom tried to escape from taxes and military serves
