الملخص

The Arabic language is characterized as being a derivative language, i.e. it forms new words through derivation. In addition, it is suffixation language, but the derivation is the main method for enriching the language with many new words. The inflectional suffixes are elements that are added to the stem of the linguistic structure. It is divided into three types (prefixes, infixes and suffixes). It mostly has two functions, the first is structural and the second is semantic. Examples of the first are aoristic letters, while the infixes are exemplified by stress and the last is exemplified by connected pronouns. This study is an indicative applied study that aims to reveal the semantic functions of some inflectional suffixes in the holy book texts in particular those used an unexpected use and reaching the reason behind it and its effect on the receiver,
