Large-scale Shell Model Calculations of Even-Even 48-56Ti Isotopes
Abstract
The level schemes and transition rates B(E2;) of eve-even 4856Ti isotopes were
studied by performing large-scale shell model calculations with FPD6 and GXPF1
effective interactions. Very good agreement were obtained by comparing the first 2+
level for all isotopes with the recently available experimental data, but studying the
transition strengths B(E2; . . 1 0 2 g s ) for all Ti isotopes using constant proton-neutron
effective charges prove the limitations of the present large-scale calculations to
reproduce the experiment in detail.
