The effect of the group competition method on developing some physical abilities and individual quick attack in handball for female students

The importance of the research is through using a modern teaching method, which is the group competition method, and to find out how effective it is in developing the level of some physical abilities and individual quick attacks with handball for female students. As for the research problem: by informing the field researchers in teaching the subject of handball and informing them of the teaching methods and their diversity, they found that the use of competition As a method of teaching the curriculum in teaching female students, it has become necessary for female students in light of their limited capabilities, especially at the present time, as we know that most of the female students in colleges and departments of physical education and sports sciences come from a non-sports environment, which makes the task of teaching staff in the specific colleges and departments difficult.
The research aimed to: identify the effect of the group competition method on developing some physical abilities and individual quick attack in handball for female students.
The researchers used the experimental approach in solving the research problem. As for the research community, the research community was determined by the female students of the third stage of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - College of Education for Girls / University of Kufa for the academic year (2020-2021), who numbered (35) students. Therefore, a sample was selected. The research was conducted from that community by (20) female students by random method (lottery) from the original research community, and the research samples were selected by (10) female students for each sample.
