(The effect of fluid replacement when performing physical effort on some functional variables of the resonance angiotensin system (RAS) and the change in body temperature for volleyball players in hot climates)
Keywords:
Fluid replacement, biochemical variables of the resonance system, volleyball players, hot climates.Abstract
The volleyball player loses a lot of fluids during the match. Therefore, water is one of the most important basic elements present in the human body, as it represents the basis of life. Therefore, it is the most important compound in the body after oxygen from a physiological and anatomical point of view. It constitutes 60% - 70% of the body weight, so it is distributed as follows: 65% of it is inside the cells, and this percentage constitutes 40% of the body’s weight, and 35% of it is outside the cells, and this percentage constitutes 20% of the body’s weight.
When the temperature rises and the humidity decreases, the need for water increases due to the fluids lost by the body through sweating, as the amount of fluids lost through sweating changes greatly depending on the physical activity and the ambient temperature, in addition to the loss and decrease in the composition of mineral salts such as sodium and potassium in the blood plasma, which This leads to disturbances in the work of the heart and weakness of muscle function on the one hand, and on the other hand, the need for water is severe in the case of effort and activity of intensity and high volume.
