The role of indicators of economic freedom in stimulating foreign direct investment An econometric study of a sample of Arab countries for the period 2000-2017

Abstract

      The Index of Economic freedom is One of the Most Important And Influential Indicators of Attracting foreign direct Investment. The Study Examined the Relation Between Economic freedom Indicators represented by the ten variables (property Rights, freedom from Corruption, Tax policies, Government Spending, freedom of Establishment, labor market Status,  Commercial freedom, Investment freedom, financial freedom, collective economic freedom) on the one hand, and foreign Direct Investment to a Sample of two Countries, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. After studying And Analyzing data Issued by International Organizations And International classifications prepared for the media  (The Indicators of Economic freedom) And direct Investment to the Countries of the Sample, And then use the Statistical program Minitab to find The Relationship of Correlation and Effect Between Each Independent Variable and Dependent Variable, The positive Relationship And the Effect Between The two Variables And Their obvious Effect on Attracting foreign Direct Investment  The Analysis of the Data in a way (Pooling Data) It became clear after the Analysis to Match the Equation model of the UAE with the Economic theory that confirms the Relationship Between Indicators of Economic freedom and foreign direct Investment, Which is the same in Sucking  It was Reached the conclusions of The Most Important Need to pay Attention and improve Indicators of Economic freedom and Efforts to Activate Them.
