This research sought to stand at a distinguished collection of poems by an important Iraqi poet and academic who emerged in the past four decades, namely the poet Professor Dr. Rahman Gharkan in his collection (Journey in the Mirrors of Chains). The nature of the subject required dividing it into two sections, the first of which dealt with defining the author and the work, while the second dealt with a stylistic approach to the text of the collection. The research concluded with a number of results, the most prominent of which is that the collection includes distinction in many aspects, including what is related to the cognitive, literary and critical diversity of the author.
