The subject of Lamentation is an ancient subject, for it is related to death, and the lamentation of the father had an important role in poetry. This subject had intrigued the poets in the Abbasid era. And perhaps this structure of the simile is the core that establishes many other forms of the rhetoric, Therefore, simile had a noticeable presence in the rhetoric tools that were used to convey emotions and situations towards the loss of the father.
